HHI Presents at UNESCO

April in Paris?  How on earth could I say “no” to that?  And, to be there to present HHI at UNESCO’s International NGO Day as part of the Global Campaign for Education’s Global Action Week – sign me up!

It was an action packed day, with presenters from around the world, sharing a broad range of programs, all with a focus on early childhood.  My favorite presentation was from Association Montessori Internationale, who has a unique Montessori program for an indigenous population in the islands off the northern coast of Australia.

My presentation was on HHI’s model for the training of early childhood care and education providers. It was a great opportunity to raise awareness of HHI’s program at such an esteemed event.

My thanks to Victoria Barres, of Association Montessori Internationale, and to Jean-Claude Guillemard and the UNESCO organizing committee for creating and hosting this event.
